About

Hello

Happy Travels is unlike most other travel agencies.  There are many differences that set Happy Travels apart.  I was born in Provo, UT December 1973, and grew up in Orem.  My parents loved to travel.  They owned a camper and we were often out of town exploring in our family camper.  They would drive as far as they could providing my dad was back to work on Monday morning.

My dad worked in the newspaper business, and for years my mom worked various jobs.  When my older sister was in college, my mom and sister enrolled in travel school together at Clarks School of Travel.  I was 7 years old when they decided to open a travel agency together in the basement of our home.  It was a very exciting time for me to witness my mom and sister working together so focused and happy.  As they were learning the travel industry, so was I.  They hadn't anticipated me being so interested in their studies, but I was.  At one point I was like little Jessica in the movie Sleepless in Seattle when she booked Jonah on a plane to New York.  Needless to say, I grew up in the travel industry.  I had always dreamed of owning a travel agency.

I'm not just old fashioned, but I'm old school.  My morals, values and standards are different from those found in business today.  Having grown up traveling, I have a deep rooted passion for travel, as well as the travel industry.  I care for my clients like I care for myself and the industry I love.  My clients needs and safety are prioritized above profit.  If there is something I feel my clients should know, I will advise them and share with them anything I feel would be of benefit to them.  While I believe in diplomacy, I place my clients above the suppliers I partner with to sell travel.  Had the government, travel industry and Yosemite National park listened to me about my hantavirus warning, the hantavirus fatalities in Yosemite could have been prevented.  Sometimes a good travel agent can save your life.  Click this link if you want to read my Yosemite hantavirus warning review posted to trip advisor.  If you take the time to read it you'll know Happy Travels is set apart from other travel agencies.  My overall goal is that your travels are happy ones.
