Niche specialities are one of the things that sets Happy Travels apart from other travel agencies and makes our agency so unique. Hot air ballooning is among the rare niche specialities that not many agencies have real experience with.  For 3 years I enjoyed the sport of hot air ballooning regularly.  The balloon in this picture was at one point named the Sun Demon Salute as it was owned by Navy Commander James McBride, who was the NJROTC instructor at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, NM.  I was very familiar with the Sun Demon Salute as I had many of hot air balloon flights inside this balloon.  For 3 years during high school I was a hot air balloon addict.  I was fortunate enough to have participated in the Albuquerque International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta all 3 years.  It was like a dream come true.  There is nothing like floating up from the ground in a hot air balloon. All the cares of the world are momentarily left behind as the balloon drifts peacefully in the sky.  No doorbells ringing, horns honking, no sirens or telephones needing to be answered.  Strangely enough, there is one thing you hear from way up high, and that is the barking of dogs.  Dogs barks travel a longer distance than people realize until they fly in a hot air balloon.  If you've been dreaming of flying in a hot air balloon I will be more than happy to help your ballooning dreams come true.
